Taking care of the birthing parent is a top priority at 312Doulas. We have helped moms recover faster and improve health outcomes with postpartum doulas support and placenta encapsulation for over 15 years.
A healthy mom is also a well-rested mom. Our postpartum doulas and newborn care team are available to help parents adjust to the fourth trimester with daytime care, overnight care, and breastfeeding consultation.
What to Expect When Expecting with 312Doulas
1. Connection every step of the way
Working with 312Doulas means receiving prenatal and postpartum care designed to help your family thrive. A package with 312Doulas includes weekly prenatal group zooms, a 6-week childbirth class, a private prenatal meeting, unlimited connect and thrive Zoom meetings with the doulas, complementary birth plan through [M]otherboard, a free online breastfeeding course, and most importantly, in-person support on your big day. When you become a member of 312Doulas, you gain instant access to our online community space to access all our resources and connect with other families. Families can add on additional appointments at any time, including postpartum newborn care and lactation counseling.
2. Learning and growth through childbirth education
Your package with 312Doulas includes a 6-week childbirth class and additional workshops taught by master doulas Heather and Victoria. Together we have 25+ years of experience teaching and attending births. Through our classes we help you discover your birthing philosophy, make informed choices, and develop a birth plan that works best for you. Classed include GentleBirth and Evidence Based Birth to help parents prepare for a wonderful birthing experience. We offer additional workshops on Advanced Comfort Measures, SpinningBabies, VBAC, Infant CPR & Bringing Baby Home, Natural Breastfeeding, and refresher classes for repeat parents - no matter what birth throws at you, you'll be ready.
3. Advocating for your birth, your way
For the 312Doulas team, your birth plan is our north star. We work with you to outline the birth you've always wanted in a customized birth plan using our [M]otherboard Birth Plan App and Website. We present families with the options available to them and help them answer tough questions before labor, offering workshops and 1x1 discussions to decide what works best for your family. Together, we reinforce your birth plan throughout your birthing experience and advocate for you in the moments that matter most.
